This very simple Pasta Shells with Ground Beef Recipe comes ready in less than 20 minutes and is ideal for those busy weeknights when you don't have much time for a good dinner but you want something super delicious, quick and please all the family!!! This dish has a wonderful combination of flavors from the sweet red bell pepper, mild cheddar cheese, and Italian spice. Every mouthful of the small pasta shells is a delight since they scoop up the sauce so well. 

IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS CREAMY PASTA SHELLS WITH GROUND BEEF RECIPE, YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS:

Uncooked medium pasta shells, I used 3 cups. 

Ground beef, you’ll need 1 to 1½ pounds.

A medium diced red bell pepper.

A medium-diced onion. 

2 Cups.Of beef broth. 

½ Cup.Of sour cream. 

1 Cup.Of mild cheddar cheese. 

¼ Cup.Of all-purpose flour. 

1 t spoon.Of minced garlic. 

1 T spoon.Of Italian seasoning. 

1 t spoon.Of table salt. 

 ½ t spoon.Of black pepper. 

3 T spoon.Of softened Butter. 

2 T spoon.Of chopped parsley.


INSTRUCTIONS: 

Step 1: 

Begin by boiling a big pot of salted water and cooking pasta shells in accordance with their packaging, then drain the water and put it aside. 

 Step 2: 

Cook beef, red pepper, and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until meat is cooked through and crumbles. Remove any excess fat from the pan and put it back on the stove. 

Step 3: 

Then add the garlic, Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper and cook until aromatic. Stir in the softened Butter until the it is melted, then whisk in the flour and sauté for about 1 min, just until the flour is completely absorbed by the sauce. 

Step 4: 

In a slow, steady stream, whisk in the beef broth until the mixture is somewhat thickened. 

Step 5: 

Stir in the sour cream followed by mild cheddar cheese until everything is well incorporated, then add the pasta shells and mix well. Enjoy with a sprinkle of fresh parsley!
