Is there anything you can do when you have a hankering for both Italian and Mexican meals at the same time and can't decide which to prepare? You're the one who makes them both! Seriously, this Mexican dish, which uses tortillas instead of spaghetti sheets, is the quickest and simplest "lasagna" recipe you will ever make.
This layered taco dish has it all. Ground beef, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, black beans, refried beans, tortillas, and cheese are all included in this recipe. Actually, it's a taco, but it's more than a taco; it's a taco served in the style of lasagna.
It's similar to creating a large number of tacos without the trouble of cooking them one at a time. Please continue reading and consider the beef taco lasagna as a possible next meal choice.

Ground beef; I used 500 grams.

Chopped green pepper; I used a large one.

Chopped onion; I used a large one.

⅔ Cup.Of water, at room temp.

Taco seasoning; you’ll need an envelope.

Canned Back beans; you’ll need a 15-ounces can – drained.

Canned Mexican diced tomatoes; you’ll need a 12-ounces can  undrained

Flour tortillas; us 6 to 8 ones.

Canned refried beans; use a 16-ounces can.

Shredded Mexican cheese blend; You'll need 3 cups.

Step 1:

Cook the ground beef, along with the chopped onion and green pepper, in a large pan over medium-high heat until the meat is no longer pink.

Step 2:

Combine the water and taco seasoning in a large mixing bowl, and cook the mixture for one minute on low heat.

Step 3:

After that, add the drained black beans and the undrained Mexican tomatoes and combine well, and cook everything for about 10 minutes on low heat.

Step 4:

At this step, you need to heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. And prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking dish by greasing it and placing two tortillas in the bottom of the dish.

Step 5:

Cover the tortillas with half of the refried beans and fold them in half, then top with half of the meat mixture. Then, on top of the meat mixture, add 1 cup of shredded cheese.

Step 6:

Continue layering until you reach the last layer of tortillas and the final cup of cheese.

Step 7:

Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling, according to your preference. And serve it immediately after adding your favorite toppings.
